TUESDAY, MAY 3, 2011
2P – Academy / Alumni Coordinators Workshop (3 hours)

This workshop will cover formulating, developing and implementing Citizens Police Academy programs.  It will be presented by experienced personnel who have successfully created these academies, from first-night to graduation.  Participants will have the opportunity to “learn from the pros” in selecting course criteria, recruiting speakers, and advertising and marketing their program.

2P to 3:30P - Workshops
4P to 5:30P – Workshops
Evening – Western Theme Dinner and Dennis Gallagher – “Denver: The Last Stop Before the Rockies”

THURSDAY, MAY 5, 2011
8A to 9:30A – Workshops
10A to 11:30A – Workshops
Noon – Buffet Luncheon and “Columbine & Platte Canyon: First Responder.  Special presentation by John Michael Keyes, founder of the I Love You Guys Foundation in honor of his daughter, Emily Keyes, the only student killed at Platte Canyon.”
1:30P to 3P – Workshops
3:30P to 5P – Workshops
Evening – Free Time, Local Excursions (some of the ideas we're working on - Coors Brewery, National Renewable Energy Labs, Downtown Golden, Downtown Denver, Buffalo Bill's Grave, etc.)
