This alumni association was formed in 2006 by graduates of the Sheriff’s Citizens Academy because we wanted to stay involved with the Sheriff’s Office through ongoing education classes.  We also wanted to provide volunteer support and participate in activities that contribute to the well-being of Jefferson County, Colorado.

CITIZENS ACADEMY  If you are interested in attending a future Citizens Academy, contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer.  You can also complete an application at their website http://www.jeffco.us/sheriff/sheriff_T62_R38.htm

CONTINUING EDUCATION PROGRAM  Classes are held on the THIRD Thursday of January, March, May, July, September, and November.  They take place at the Sheriff’s Office Training Center at 6P.  Refreshments are always served!
